Ink chemist

Responsible for preparing and matching ink shades as per approved standards and customer requirements.

Conduct shade matching and viscosity adjustment during production runs.

Perform testing of ink properties such as shade, viscosity, adhesion, and drying.

Maintain ink mixing records, formulations, and consumption data.

Coordinate with the printing supervisor for shade approval and on-line correction. .

Manage ink inventory, solvent balance, and ensure proper storage and labeling.

Analyze printing defects related to ink and suggest corrective actions.

Maintain laboratory instruments and ensure calibration of testing equipment.

Implement 5S, Kaizen, and safety practices in the ink kitchen and lab area.

Ensure compliance with quality, ISO, and BRCGS standards in all ink-related processes.
